One Seasoning, Endless Flavor – Grill Day with Central Coast Seasonings
Adam KaneShare
We kept things simple this weekend—just one seasoning, a hot grill, and a lot of good food.
Here at Central Coast Seasonings, we’re always looking for flavors that make food better without needing a ton of extras. So today, we tried out the main seasoning we resell (we don’t make it, just proudly carry it), and used it on everything we grilled.
And when we say everything—we mean it.
What Hit the Grill
We threw on a solid mix of proteins and veggies:
- Tilapia
- Salmon
- Hamburgers
- Steak
- Chicken
- Chicken wings
- Corn
- Zucchini
No marinades, no rubs, no sauces—just that one seasoning. The goal? See how well it pairs with different flavors and textures.
The Results? Impressive.
Every single item took on a unique flavor profile, but still felt balanced and natural.
The fish (tilapia and salmon) turned out light but flavorful. The seasoning gave it just enough kick without covering up the freshness. Perfect for summer grilling.
Steak and burgers had that rich, savory crust we all look for. The spice mix locked into the sear and helped highlight all the natural juices.
Chicken and wings? Super juicy, with a great char and a little bite from the spice. Definitely a standout.
Even the corn and zucchini popped. That same seasoning gave the corn a sweet-savory finish and added real flavor to the zucchini without needing anything else.
One Blend, So Many Possibilities
It was cool to see how this one blend worked across the board. No matter what we cooked, it found a way to blend with the food instead of covering it up. That’s rare.
- It’s versatile
- It plays nice with all kinds of meats and veggies
- It delivers actual flavor, not just salt
You really don’t need a cabinet full of seasonings when one can handle the job.
Grill Day Tips (Learned the Tasty Way)
Just a few quick takeaways from today:
- Get the grill hot—it helps seal in the seasoning flavor
- Oil the grates so nothing sticks
- Don’t skimp on seasoning—this one can handle it
- Pull fish and veggies off early—they cook fast!
Final Thoughts
Sometimes, you don’t need to overcomplicate things. Today proved that one good seasoning can go a long way. Everything we grilled tasted different, but there was a subtle thread tying it all together.
We’re excited to offer this blend at www.centralcoastseasonings.com because it really is the kind of seasoning you reach for again and again—whether you’re grilling up dinner for the family or making a full spread for a weekend BBQ.
If you haven’t tried it yet, now’s the time.
